Macrolichens
Lichens with a lower Cortex….They are not growing completely attached to the substrate. This category includes many forms -Foliose (leafy), Fruticose ( shrubby or multi- branched) , Squamulose as in the genus Psora and Psorula. Also Cyano-Lichens- which are not typically stratified in section.
